New Hartford Youth Hockey is proud to announce that for the third consecutive year we have been the recipient of $1,000 dollar donation from the Bobby Ciccotti foundation. The hard work of our high school team winning the Ciccotti tournament again last fall has made us fortunate enough to receive this donation. The Bobby Ciccotti tournament was started three years ago in Honor of Bobby Ciccotti who was a Rome Youth Hockey and RFA high School player. He was tragically killed in a motor cycle accident at a young age. His family started this tournament as a fundraiser for the foundation. One of there goals with their fundraising is to help underprivileged kids be able to afford to play sports. The HS team who wins the tournament each year is given a donation of $1,000 to give to their local youth hockey association . We have been fortunate enough to win it 3 years in a row! With that being said we have set that money aside each year for the purpose of helping anyone in need of help with registration or equipment costs. If you know of anyone who you think would need help feel free to contact me or any board member to discuss. Thank you and congratulations to our boys!! They will be looking to win it again this Thanksgiving weekend! Happy Holidays
