Concession Stand Slots Available

Fellow New Hartford Youth Hockey members:

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year. Just a reminder the concession sign up schedule is updated until the end of the season. If you would like your 100 dollar refund you need to fulfill your 9hr obligation. The schedule is wide open at this point so don’t hesitate to get on and sign up. (Link is below) Also we have our annual mite tournament coming up the first weekend of February. This is not only is fun for our kids it is one of our bigger fundraisers for the organization. If you would like to help out please contact me. Also if you can get anything donated for the raffle/ or food table please contact me. NHYHA Bauer warm-up suits can be ordered from Mark Kotary’s Hockey Supply pro shop. All orders must be placed by November 25th in order to have them in by Christmas. Please see the pro shop if you are interested. 

Squirt House & Pee Wee House Combined Teams

Attention all New Hartford squirt house and pee wee house players:

If you haven’t already heard we are happy to announce that our squirt house and pee wee house teams will be combined with Whitestown squirt and pee wee house teams. If you registered in New Hartford for either of these levels your first 2 weeks of ice will be over in Whitestown. The first week of ice will be what they call boot camp, which allows all players to get a feel for the ice again. The second week will involve evaluations of players to make sure they are playing at the appropriate skill level. After those first 2 weeks both teams will be utilizing Whitestown and new Hartford ice for practices and games.

This merger has been carefully worked out over the course of the summer between the 2 organizations. Dennis Golis from New Hartford will be involved with the merged pee wee team. Right now we will be utilizing Whitestown coaches for the combined squirt team until someone from NH comes forward to help. All teams will be registered in the Snowbelt leagues which will offer up a decent game schedule.  The season will be starting on Monday September 28 so if you haven’t registered please do. The first 2 weeks of ice in Whitestown is listed below. Again this is for house players only. NHYHA 2015-2016 Registration

Registration for the NHYHA 2015-2016 season is now available online! NHYHA is excited to announce that for a third year in a row we have managed to keep registration costs the same.  This is despite an approximate 2% increase in ice costs as well as additional fees associated with running our organization.

We are able to keep costs down thanks to the hard work of this association’s members.  The Mite tournament, Travel tournament and third annual golf tournament were a big success!  NHYHA is financially strong!

Like last year, all association members (with the exception of Learn to Skate) are required to register online.  For LTS you can either register online or in person (date & time TBA).

Here are the registration fees for the 2015-2016 season (note that these fees include a $100 raffle booklet):

  • Midgets: $395
  • Pee Wee $675
  • Squirt  $675
  • Mite $475
  • LTS Full Year (October-March) $100 (free after you sell your raffle tickets)

Along with the above registration fees, each non-LTS family will be required to pay a $100 ($50 for midgets) concession stand fee.  This fee will be collected at the time of registration.

This fee will help NHYHA pay for individuals to work the concession stand in the event that an association member does not volunteer to work the stand.

At the end of the year, NHYHA will refund each family for the hours that they’ve worked.  Like in the past, each family is required to work 9 concession stand hours (Midgets 4 hrs).  Note that for LTS only families there isn’t a requirement to work the concession stand.
